Geralmente apresenta tamb\u00e9m pintas brancas mais vis\u00edveis quanto mais claro for o pelo, raz\u00e3o pela qual s\u00e3o confundidos com o veado.<\/p><p><em><span style=\"color: #b5b3b0;\">The fallow deer has two distinct coats throughout the year: a summer coat in light brown tones and a winter coat in darker shades. Os nascimentos ocorrem em Portugal de finais de maio a princ\u00edpios de julho. A \u00e9poca do cio (ou brama) ocorre em Portugal essencialmente no m\u00eas de outubro.<\/p><p><em><span style=\"color: #b5b3b0;\">Females start reproducing from their second year of life, giving birth to a single fawn (rarely two) after a gestation period of about eight months. Births occur in Portugal from late May to early July.
